The School Resources Officer is assigned to South Lyon High School on a full time basis during the school year. This position is provided by the South Lyon Police Department and is funded by the City of South Lyon.

Primary activities of the School Resources Officer are centered on facilitating positive interaction between the police department and the student body and assisting faculty and students as needed.
