In an emergency, call 911. To report a crime, come to the police station and file a report, or call the South Lyon Police Department non-emergency number: 248-412-8697. The Michigan State Police operate a number of confidential Crime Prevention Tip Lines which may also be used to report crimes.

What are the winter parking restrictions?
Winter parking restrictions are in effect from November 1 through March 31 between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM. There will be NO parking allowed on ANY city street during these hours.
This ordinance is enforced for snow removal purposes. Cars parked in violation will be ticketed.
